Euro-Asian carrier Turkish Airlines is planning to land at DFW International Airport for the first time ever with direct flights to Istanbul.
As the travel industry pushes the Biden administration and other governments to reopen international borders for tourism, Istanbul-based Turkish Airlines, Turkey’s flag carrier, is prepping for its first flights to DFW International Airport to touch down Sept. 24, airport officials announced Thursday.
It plans to make the trip on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, Turkish Airline spokesman Haldun Dinccetin said. That plane has about 300 seats under the airline’s configuration, according to SeatGuru.com. The flights will take place
